40th Anniversary Lunch - 26th April 2011

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the first meeting of The Probus Club of Bristol, on 27th April 1971, a special luncheon was held at BAWA on the 26th April. We were very pleased that the Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Colin Smith, and the Lady Mayoress, Councillor Jenny Bradley, were able to join in our celebrations.

After the lunch, members enjoyed an excellent speech by the Lord Mayor, describing his year of office in a very refreshing way.

He proposed a toast to the future success of the Club, which was followed by a reply from the Chairman and a toast to the City of Bristol.
