Past Chairmen's Lunch - 12th January 2009

On 12th January, the annual 'Past Chairmen's Lunch' was held in a private dining room at the Bristol Golf Club. The lunch is hosted annually by the Immediate Past Chairman with the current Chairman as guest.

This year’s lunch started with Keith Oxtoby paying tribute to Leslie Pearce (Chairman in 1983/84) and Norman Parker (to quote Keith: ‘the best Chairman we never had’), both of whose funerals were held on 12 January, before those present stood in silence in their memory.

1998/99 - Colin and Margaret Osborn

2001/02 - Roy and Margot Watts

2002/03 - Martin Halford

2003/04 - Peter Read, accompanied by Sue Hookes

2004/05 - George Reah

2006/07 - Don Jones

2007/08 - Keith and Lynette Oxtoby

with current Chairman 2008/09 - John and Rachel Newton
