Sunday Lunch - Royal George Hotel – Tintern - December 14th 2008

On 14th December, the Christmas version of our regular Sunday Lunch was held at the Royal George Hotel – Tintern

The Royal George Hotel is part of the Best Western chain, and has several dining rooms, giving an intimate flavour to the event.

This 'self-drive' trip attracted a number of members and their partners.

After the customary pre-lunch drink, the members enjoyed an excellent meal in two linked dining rooms.

With the colder seasonal weather, most members decided to forego a stroll to the nearby beautiful Tintern Abbey ruins, but enjoyed the drive along the river on the return journey
