John Newton, Chairman 2008-2009

Our Chairman for 2008-2009 was John Newton, a Methodist Minister.

Coming originally from Boston, Lincolnshire, he was educated at Boston Grammar School, University College, Hull, London Institute of Historical Research and Wesley College Cambridge.

He served in London, Lincolnshire, Stockton-on-Tees, Kenya, and Liverpool. From 1973-78 he was the Principal of the Wesley College, Bristol.

John is married to Rachel and has four sons.
